Chair Kit - 1/3 and 1/4 scale Slot Furniture Collection for BJDs

The 1/3 scale chair is designed specifically for the long legs of both Smartdoll Classic and Smartdoll Pear as well as up to 65cm resin BJD. It is sturdy enough to hold the doll when seated. It fits under the table for play / photography with doll.

The 1/4 scale chair is designed for MSD sized resin bjds, but also fits most 1/4 scale fashion dolls such as Robert Tonner's Tyler, Lacie and Ellowyn Wilde. Please read further for important info on the DIY kits. 

Our Slot Furniture collection was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's use of the then-new Laminated Wood of the early 20th Century, the simple lines and shapes of Mid Century Modern and Scandinavian design, and modern space saving engineered pieces of today. Each piece is intended to serve multiple purposes and can be combined with other pieces in the collection or stand on their own. The clever engineering allows doll collectors to assemble for play (photography) without tools and to disassemble after play quickly. This allows the pieces to store on a single shelf or to travel, taking a minimum of space!

Funiture pieces are constructed of furniture or cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood. They can be stained, painted or finished as you like. Kits are shipped in boxes with DIY instructions and Assembly instructions. 

The unfinished furniture will still bear char on the edges and some raised surface grain. ETA for shipment of unfinished pieces is 3-5 days. Because pieces will require at least 2 sandings before final varnish or paint coat - some pieces will be a VERY tight fit on the raw unfinished pieces - this is to accomodate the removal of material in the sanding process. 
The slots in the seat bottom are very snug - intentionally to hold the back and provide additional support without additional pieces or hardware.
