Loveseat or Settee Kit - 1/3 scale Slot Furniture Collection for BJDs

This loveseat or settee is sized right as a piece for dolls from 55-60 cm in height. The settee is wide enough to hold at least 1 classic and 1 pear Smartdoll at the same time.  Instructions are provided for making the cushion and pillows but fabric is not included in the kit - so you may choose your own pattern and style. The design is versatile - can be used with or without any cushion and the arm rests can be left off. 

Our Slot Furniture collection was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's use of the then-new Laminated Wood of the early 20th Century, the simple lines and shapes of Mid Century Modern and Scandinavian design, and modern space saving engineered pieces of today. Each piece is intended to serve multiple purposes and can be combined with other pieces in the collection or stand on their own. The clever engineering allows doll collectors to assemble for play (photography) without tools and to disassemble after play quickly. This allows the pieces to store on a single shelf or to travel, taking a minimum of space!

Funiture pieces are constructed of furniture or cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood  and can be stained or painted. The armrests do require some pre-assembly with glue only. DIY tips and Assembly instructions are included.

 The unfinished furniture will still bear char on the edges and some raised surface grain. ETA for shipment of unfinished pieces is 3-5 days. Please be aware that because the pieces are meant to be sanded twice in finishing (before prime or stain and after) - the joinery is VERY snug on the raw pieces.  DIY kits are not made nor expected to function as unfinished raw pieces - some sanding/finishing  is required.
