Standing Mirror Kit - 1/4 or 1/3 scale Slot Furniture Collection for BJDs

 This free standing dressing mirror is simple and clever. It can be set on the floor of your diorama for gazing, hung on the wall or displayed hanging on the side of the open closet. A small dowel allows it to stand at an angle for your doll to check their "fit" for the day.  This mirror works for 1/4 and 1/3 scale dolls. It can also be hung from the wall by the round opening. 
The flower "rosettes" in the corners were inspired by real vintage MCM pieces, with a bit of etching as well.
 
NOTE: It is recommended to store upright and if travelling, cover the mirror with plastic to prevent scratching. To clean, use a soft, lint free cotton cloth and plain white vinegar or acrylic cleaner. 

Our Slot Furniture collection was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's use of the then-new Laminated Wood of the early 20th Century, the simple lines and shapes of Mid Century Modern and Scandinavian design, and modern space saving engineered pieces of today. Each piece is intended to serve multiple purposes and can be combined with other pieces in the collection or stand on their own. The clever engineering allows doll collectors to assemble for play (photography) without tools and to disassemble after play quickly. This allows the pieces to store on a single shelf or to travel, taking a minimum of space!

Funiture pieces are constructed of furniture or cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood and can be stained or painted.  The vanity also features brass screws and hinges, cast acrylic mirror and unique mirror rosettes. 

The unfinished furniture will still bear char on the edges and some raised surface grain. ETA for shipment of unfinished pieces is 3-5 days.
